Miles Millar and Alfred Gough — the team behind The WB’s eternally popular SMALLVILLE — are adapting EXISTENCE 2.0 for the big screen. Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller’s Platinum Dunes is set to produce along with Circle of Confusion’s David Alpert.   EXISTENCE 2.0 is a three-issue miniseries published by Image Comics. Written by Nick Spencer (Forgetless, Shuddertown) and drawn by Ronald Salas, the series focuses on self-absorbed physicist Sylvester Baladine.

German melodic rockers Mad Max have been confirmed for this year’s edition of the Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place on 5th-7th August, 2010 in Wacken, Germany. The band will play a set of their 25-years-jubilee-album ‘Here We Are’ (2008) which was produced with many guest stars like Axel Rudi Pell or Michael Schenker. Jägermeister, the brand known for decades of involvement with rock and metal bands, continues to own the concert circuit with the 2010 Spring Jägermeister Music Tour featuring Grammy Award winning American rock band KoRn. The tour, which is Jägermeister’s 16th Music Tour, kicks off May 2nd in South Carolina and plays over 25 shows across the nation in celebration of the upcoming release of KoRn’s ninth studio album “KoRn III: Remember Who You Are.”  

Some bands will flat out cancel a show if their vocalist is unable to perform that night. Then you get a band like Killswitch Engage that brings in another band’s vocalist to fill in. Killswitch Engage, or as they were known Thursday night in NYC, Phil-switch Engage, took a near cancelation and turned it into a spectacle.
