Comic superstar (Spawn and Spider-Man) and McFarlane Toys founder, Todd McFarlane and Toys“R”Us Times Square. In anticipation of “the big game,” Grammy/Emmy-winning Producer/Director Todd McFarlane, best known as the creator of Spawn and the creative visionary behind McFarlane Toys, will make a rare, special appearance at Toys“R”Us Times Square located on 44th Street, along the 13-block stretch of “Super Bowl Boulevard” on Saturday, February 1.

This week at the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum, Mez-itz (A brand off of Mezco Toys) released their new brand of Batman themed toys. Oh and what a sight it was. On top of the usual bright eyed and bushy tailed tourist filtering in to see what was going on there were many individuals wielding Batman costumes and even a 70’s bat mobile parked inside. On top of working the event Metal Machine was lucky enough to wander the halls of the building to be shocked and awed by it’s exhibits.

The Universal Monsters are some of the most iconic characters in cinematic history and have a rich history that spans the past 80 years with a fan base in the millions. The Universal Monsters series of dolls will make their retail debut Halloween 2013.
