A name that should need no introduction in the metal world, ANNIHILATOR was forged in Canada in late 1984. Since then, the band has been touring and releasing records, selling millions of albums to date, nonstop, for over thirty years. January 24th, 2020 marks the release of their seventeenth studio album, Ballistic, Sadistic.

Fabio Frizzi is returning to North America to perfom the legendary score for “The Beyond.” “The Beyond” is a psychedelic, supernatural nightmare directed by the granddaddy of Italian splatter Lucio Fulci. The second film in Fulci’s “Gates of Hell” trilogy sandwiched between City of the Living Dead (1980) and The House by the Cemetery (1981), “The Beyond’s” loose narrative revolves around a Louisiana hotel which may in fact be one of the seven gates to hell.  

Season of Mist are pleased to announce the signing of black metal outfit GAEREA. The band will release their brand new album via Season of Mist in 2020.  

NANOWAR OF STEEL, international masters of parody-metal, have pushed it to the next level and signed a worldwide contract with Napalm Records. Humor in metal is a rarity, but NANOWAR OF STEEL impressively boost its existence by mixing contrasting musical styles like ska and true metal, crafting a genre-fluid fun formation. The band was formed in 2003 in Rome (IT) and has been dedicated to tongue-in-cheek metal ever since. .  

New Noise Magazine is currently streaming “Oil Money” from Norwegian post hardcore unit WOLVES LIKE US. The track comes by way of the band’s impending fourth full-length, Brittle Bones, set for release October 25th via Pelagic Records.  

October is the month of haunting, and horror-inspired metal outfit ICE NINE KILLS are prepared to keep listeners filled with terror as they slowly unravel details on the deluxe edition of their critically acclaimed standout 2018 effort, THE SILVER SCREAM.  

Later this month, Allegaeon will head back out on tour, headlining the “Apoptosis Tour Pt II” across the USA with Inferi and Paladin. In anticipation of this trek, Allegaeon has now launched a new video for “Metaphobia” – taken from their latest album, Apoptosis.  

During his career, photographer Bill O’Leary took pictures of some of rock’s biggest names at the peak of their powers – Van Halen, Rush, Judas Priest, Kiss, Ozzy Osbourne, Queen, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, etc. And now, he has opened his archives for the first time ever – assembling a collection of not only his best images, but also, offering stories and recollections behind concerts he shot over the years. Indeed, this book is comprised of over 175 full color, live concert images photographed primarily from the late 1970’s through the 1990’s. Artists include…AC/DC, Albert King, The Allman Brothers Band, Anthrax, Blues Traveler, Bob Seger, Cheap Trick, Def Leppard, Dixie...
