In February of 2020, EARTH CRISIS, SNAPCASE, and STRIFE joined forces in Los Angeles for The Return Of The California Takeover; two shows paying homage to The California Takeover… Live, the classic live album featuring all three bands. Released on Victory Records in 1996, The California Takeover… Live is considered by many fans of the genre as one of the all-time best live hardcore records.  

UK’s VENOM PRISON announces the release of their new full-length album Erebos out worldwide on February 4th 2022. The band have also just shared the iconic cover artwork for the forthcoming album, which was created by renowned artist Eliran Kantor. This week, Pop Evil celebrates their 7th career #1 single at rock radio, with “Survivor,” which hit #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart, marking a historic milestone. “Survivor” joins the previous Top 10 single “Work,” and #1 single “Breathe Again,” from their new album VERSATILE, out now via MNRK Heavy.  

Long-running death metal icons Cannibal Corpse will return to stages this Winter on a US headlining tour with support from labelmates Whitechapel and Revocation! A celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Metal Blade Records, the trek begins February 19th in Atlanta, Georgia and makes its way through over two dozen cities, closing on March 26th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Additional support will be provided by Shadow Of Intent. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 15th at 10:00am local time.

Tortured blackened death metal machine WITHERED have announced December U.S. tour dates in support of BLOOD INCANTATION and PRIMITIVE MAN. WITHERED’s trek will kick off with an already sold out show on December 4 in Chicago, IL and will conclude in December 19 in Cambridge, MA. The full run of dates can be found below!  

Claustrofobia channels his heavy metal energy with a solid career in Brazil, South America, Europe and the USA. Currently living in the United States, where they affectionately call Las Vegas “Home”, the band is preparing to return to concerts after a year and a half stopped due to the pandemic. “After more than a year and a half we are finally going to hit the road, it will be a kind of warm-up for our new album”, said Marcus D’Angelo.  

TOOL have announced a mammoth 2022 tour, with the Los Angeles-based band spending 3 months traversing the U.S. followed by a month of European dates.  

Enuff Z’Nuff’s fondness for the legendary rock ‘n roll band The Beatles has been more than well documented over the years. The band, now led by co-founder Chip Z’Nuff, have finally decided to go all in on that fandom and have announced the release of “Enuff Z’Nuff’s Hardrock Nite,” a covers album of some of their favorite Beatles songs as well as songs from Beatles’ members post-Beatles bands.  

The British/American metal trio Raven have announced the “Metal City” US Tour for later this fall. The tour begins October 20th in Louisville, KY and runs through November 18th in Brooklyn, NY. A complete list of dates can be found below.
