Los Angeles stoner/doom metal band BEHOLD! THE MONOLITH have given release to their third full-length album, Architects of the Void. Praised for its “healthy doses of doomy riffage, pummeling heaviness, and expansive/exploratory parts that just might take you on a journey to another planet,” the album is now available on CD and digital formats. Vinyl treatment for Architects of the Void is coming this December.
It has been three years since Cryptopsy‘s last release and many fans have expressed their eagerness to hear new material. This time, rather than a full album, the band will release a series of EPs entitled The Book of Suffering. This new approach will allow Cryptopsy to put out new music more often while remaining true to their standards of quality. The first EP in the series, The Book of Suffering Tome 1, was produced by Chris Donaldson at The Grid studio in Montreal, mixed by Jason Suecoff at Audiohammer Studio and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music.

Tenessee’s Whitechapel are hitting the road throughout November with Australia’s Psycroptic and new Metal Blade label mates, Culture Killer.
