Industrial band GNAW have joined Seventh Rule Recordings. GNAW is the brainchild of Alan Dubin (Khanate, Old, O.L.D.), Carter Thornton (Enos Slaughter), Jun Mizumachi (Ike Yard), Brian Beatrice and Eric Neuser. Their 2009 Conspiracy Records debut, This Face, described as a “genre destroying journey,” incorporated pounding percussion, factory noise, chordal slabs of guitar and bass, homemade electro-acoustic instruments and Dubin’s legendarily scathing vocal craftings. The band will release their second album, Horrible Chamber, later this year.

Baroness’s first North American tour supporting their critically-acclaimed album, Yellow & Green, kicks off May 24 with a performance at Union Transfer in John Baizley’s adopted hometown of Philadelphia. “It’s hard to find the words to express how excited we are to announce this tour,” explained guitar player Pete Adams. “Seven months ago, who knew when it would be or even if we could get back on the road. Pasadena, CA’s GYPSYHAWK have announced that they will support VALIENT THORR on tour this summer! Serving as the openers on the tour will be RAMMING SPEED. The tour will begin on June 12th in Charlotte, NC and hits cities throughout east coast and Midwest before wrapping up on July 6th in Raleigh, NC.
