Chicago’s celebrated torchbearers of instrumental metal, PELICAN, will return to Europe for a string of dates this Spring. This marks the band’s first European tour since the successes of their innovative 2013 LP Forever Becoming and 2015’s 4-track EP, The Cliff — both released via Southern Lord — and their 2014 Arktika live 2xLP.  

Red Fang, who recently celebrated their tenth anniversary with a trio of Northwestern U.S. performances, return to the studio in February, recording the follow-up to Whales & Leeches with famed producer Ross Robinson.

Canadian progressive sci-fi metal innovators VOIVOD, who recently toured Europe as part of the “Deathcrusher 2015” tour alongside Carcass, Obituary and Napalm Death, are pleased to announce the release of Post Society EP Mini-CD. This special release will be available in Digipak CD format as well as digital download on February 26th, 2016 via Century Media Records.  

UK-based metallers, VENOM INC., will kick off their long-anticipated North American tour next month. Initially scheduled to take place this past Fall but postponed, the rescheduled demolition will pillage its way through nearly two dozen cities from January 5th through January 28th.  

Barbarous hellhounds, CRADLE OF FILTH, will return to North America next year on the Inquisitional Torture Tour 2016! The debaucherous trek will run from January 26th through March 8th, leveling a total of twenty-seven cities. Support will be provided by Butcher Babies and Ne Obliviscaris. “Breathing Lightning,” the first official track from Anthrax’s upcoming album For All Kings due out February 26 (Megaforce/North America), goes to radio today.  

WARBRINGER will launch their next North American tour in New York City on Jan. 5, 2016 at The Gramercy Theatre. This co-headliner trek with Sweden’s Enforcer will be almost two months and cover the US and Canada, along with opening acts Exmortus and Cauldron. This is the first domestic tour WARBRINGER has done since the fall of 2013 when the group opened for Overkill and Kreator in support of their last album, Warbringer IV: Empires Collapse so many fans are eager to see the band live again.

10 Years will begin 2016 with a co-headlining tour alongside reggae rock outfit P.O.D. The North American trek will see the band return to the road supporting their latest full length record, From Birth To Burial, which was released in April of this year on the band’s Palehorse imprint. Joining 10 Years and P.O.D. on the tour are Australian prog-rock stalwarts Dead Letter Circus, as well as War Of Ages.
