Hard-rock scene staples Escape The Fate and Nonpoint have announced the Hate Poison tour, a 21 date co-headline tour across the U.S. The tour will kick off November 10th in Denver, CO and will include special guests Get Scared, Failure Anthem, and Through Fire.  

The saviours of heavy metal, and one of the most influential bands for over 20 years in metal, are finally back! HAMMERFALL, who recently signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records, have just left the studio and are about to release their hotly anticipated masterpiece in form of the band’s upcoming 10th album, which marks their strongest work to date in their successful career and history.  

NONPOINT released their latest album, The Poison Red, earlier this summer, embarking on a near-constant tour schedule in support of their Spinefarm Records debut. The band will remain on the road for the rest of the year, embarking on a co-headline run with Escape the Fate this fall.  

SLAYER has just released a brand new video clip with Tom Araya and Kerry King talking about the band’s upcoming Fall tour of North America. Fellow Big Four members Anthrax will Special Guest, and Death Angel will support.

I spoke with a woman at the Deftones show on the August 11th about being a “long time fan” of a band: said artists come and go, they change styles, and sometimes they just change their genres entirely. However, rarely, do you see bands adapt, and that brought us into discussing Gore, the latest release by Deftones, and how it’s still still original and yet distinctly them. “I’ve been a fan since I heard ‘7 Words,’” she told me, but “But honest to God, I love everything they’ve put out.”

Canadian progressive sci-fi metal innovators VOIVOD have officially confirmed that work is underway for a new VOIVOD studio album expected for 2017! Additionally, the band has announced the forthcoming arrival of the next Split 7″ EP release.
