This summer Metallica’s WorldWired tour hits stadiums across North America. The band has invited along special guests Avenged Sevenfold and openers Volbeat or Gojira to join them through out the summer. However, as some fans have noticed, there are a handful of cities (five to be exact!) where only one band from the bill is able to join. Since Metallica have had so much fun checking out local bands that fans voted for to open the shows in other parts of the world (Central/South America, Copenhagen and Mexico City), it only seems natural to invite fans to once again voice their opinion and help choose a band. This time around, the group receiving the most fan votes will hit the stage first on their own five-city... 

Powerglove is pleased to announce a new album ‘Continue?’ which will mark the bands return to video game themes. Instead of releasing an album all at once the band will be releasing one track a month for the next 13 months, culminating with a box set released on the final month of the album cycle.  

Anathema, who recently revealed the new song “Sprinfield” (https://youtu.be/8y1ROzCUpbU), from the band’s forthcoming album, The Optimist (June 9, Kscope), are now thrilled to announce their first North American dates since 2014.  

Las Vegas-based rock outfit OTHERWISE are returning to the road this Summer on a headlining tour in the states. The band will embark on the “Close To The Gods” tour, with support coming from Through Fire and Righteous Vendetta. The Wise Guys have been hard at work on a new record, which will serve as the follow up to their sophomore effort “Peace At All Costs” (2014). Speaking about the upcoming tour and the opportunity to play new material for their fans, Otherwise lead guitarist Ryan Patrick comments:  

US black metal unit WOE begins their European live takeover with Germany-based black metal unit Ultha Thursday, April 13th. The trek includes an appearance at Roadburn on April 22nd with future onstage assaults both stateside and abroad in the plotting stages.  

Canadian heavy metal/stoner rock faction BLACK WIZARD is currently waging their riff war across the US supporting Brant Bjork and Royal Thunder. The tour, which BLACK WIZARD officially kicked off April 9th in Sacramento, California, will run through May 1st in Los Angeles, California and includes performances with Pentagram. THE DEAD DAISIES’ awesome live juggernaut is set to storm into North America in August for a dozen prime live dates as part of their Live & Louder World Tour, in support of the release of their landmark ‘Live And Louder’ album on Spitfire Music/SPV/eOne on May 19th. Heralded “The Dirty Dozen Tour”, the trek is set to kick off in Chicago, IL on August 10th and will wrap in Las Vegas, NV on August 27th.

RIGHTEOUS VENDETTA have announced that they will be supporting heavy rock icons HELLYEAH on a stretch of U.S. dates in the month of June. Last month the band released their major label debut album, Cursed, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart with 2,300 units sold. The band will be touring in North America throughout 2017 in support of the new record.
