Venerated black metal specialists DARK FORTRESS return with a new album, Spectres from the Old World. After a six-year gap, Germany’s darkest sons continue where Venereal Dawn (2014) left off conceptually-the birth-death lifecycle of the universe as told by spacetime-but are expanding DARK FORTRESS’ musical horizons by descending faster and with spiteful intent into the cosmic abyss. Indeed, Spectres from the Old World is more direct, more aggressive than its predecessors.  

Since the release of their Napalm Records debut, “Constellation of the Black Light,” Finnish metallers WOLFHEART have been going non-stop. The band has taken part in countless tours across the world, in addition to working on a new album. March 2020 will see the band returning to North America again as part of the “Devastation on the Nation” tour, featuring Rotting Christ, Borknagar, Abigail Williams and Imperial Triumphant.  

‘Hello, You Bastards: Live In Reno’ is STONE SOUR’s first official live album and features 16 of the band’s most loved tracks, including Absolute Zero, Through Glass and Song 3 recorded live in October of 2018. The album will be available on CD, digitally, and as a numbered 180gram double vinyl package, limited to just 2500 copies, which also includes a poster, backstage pass, guitar pick, autographed setlist, and a download card.  

Blackened death grind unit IMMORTAL BIRD will kick off their anticipated North American headlining tour this weekend. The two-week journey begins December 7th in Dayton, Ohio and will come to a close December 20th in their home city of Chicago, Illinois. See all confirmed dates below.  

Washington, DC metalcore pioneers DARKEST HOUR begin their co-headlining West Coast tour with Unearth today. The festivities commence tonight in Seattle, with shows in Portland, Orangevale, Los Angeles, San Diego, Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Grand Junction, and Denver through December 15th.  

Just in time for the holiday season and most importantly, Christmas carolling season, L.A. Guns have released a brand new digital EP, “Another Xmas In Hell”.  

Savannah, GA swamp rockers BLACK TUSK will be kicking off the new year with a headlining U.S. tour, in which they will be supported by ALL HELL. The trek will start on January 7 in Athens, GA and will conclude on January 17 in Tampa, FL. The full run of dates can be found below:

Gold-selling hard rock heavyweights Killswitch Engage have announced that Light the Torch will serve as the opening act on their upcoming Spring 2020 headline tour. As fans are more than well aware, Light the Torch features front-man Howard Jones, who served as KsE’s singer from 2002 through 2012.
