Korn return today with “Reward the Scars,” their first new music in over four years. The song arrives alongside a new music video created in partnership with Diablo® IV: Lord of Hatred™, marking the beginning of a new chapter for one of the most influential and enduring bands of the past three decades.

Written during recent studio sessions, “Reward the Scars” stands as a fully realized Korn record that continues the band’s legacy of confronting pain, survival, and transformation with a clarity and intensity few acts have matched. While the song found a natural home within the world of Diablo, it originated from the band’s own creative process and signals the next phase of their evolution.

“I’ve played Diablo for years, so getting to step into that world creatively felt natural,” said Jonathan Davis. “I’ve always connected to the darkness in the game and the idea of confronting what lives beneath the surface—that’s something Korn has explored in our music from the beginning. ‘Reward the Scars’ came out of our own writing sessions as a new Korn song, and it became clear pretty quickly that it was a natural fit for Diablo.”

The band debuted the track live during their recent set at Sick New World, where they continue to perform as a top-billed act. Known for their visceral live shows, Korn remain a dominant force on the global touring circuit as festival headliners who are equally capable of selling out their own large-scale headline shows, regularly drawing upwards of 25,000 fans.

Since forming in Bakersfield, California, Korn have sold over 40 million albums worldwide and fundamentally reshaped the trajectory of modern music. Their fusion of metal, hip-hop, and industrial textures created a blueprint that continues to influence contemporary artists across genres, from rap to electronic to alternative. Just as significantly, the band’s visual language and aesthetic have had a lasting impact on fashion and youth culture, extending their reach well beyond music.

More than 30 years into their career, Korn remain both a creative and cultural force, continuing to expand the boundaries of their sound while maintaining the raw, confessional core that defined them from the start. “Reward the Scars” marks the first glimpse of what’s to come.

The official music video is available now across Korn’s channels.
