Unearth has jumped ship from Metal Blade Records and have landed gracefully on EOne for their next album release. Their album is going to be coming out this year with special guest appearances from the one, the only, Lamb of God.
This is all very fantastic news! About the label change, vocalist Trevor Phipps said:

By joining forces with eOne (North America), Century Media (Europe), Howling Bull (Japan) and 3Wise (Australia) we will have a more focused attack from some of the most well known and respected labels in the world. We know this new beginning of sorts will bring bigger and better things for Unearth and our fans and we couldn’t be more excited for the future of all things Unearth. We are currently in the studio recording some of the most aggressive, anthemic and energized metal we have ever written and we look forward to unleashing it to you all when it is finished. And another day goes on with no bad blood in the metal scene. It’s not a rarity for bands to jump around labels through the years. It provides more exposure for both band and label and if it’s done tastefully, they both remain happy. The fact that they are featuring Lamb of God is an awesome factor as well. Adding depth to any new album is key to it’s success.
