Metal Blade Records is proud to welcome WAKE to its worldwide roster! Relentless transformation, aggression, and transcendence have written the script for Canadian metallers WAKE. Since their formation in 2009, they’ve released numerous EPs and singles, plus five full-lengths – touring the world in support of it. Now, for their upcoming sixth album [set to be recorded in July 2021 with producer Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Archspire)], WAKE has joined forces with Metal Blade Records, marking a new chapter for the quintet.  

Legendary Comics and WEBTOON, the world’s largest digital comic platform, launched today the original comic series ROB. The re-interpretation of the Robin Hood mythos created for a new generation comes from acclaimed British screenwriter and novelist Richard Dinnick, best known for his work in the revered Doctor Who franchise. Rob is a new and original adventure taking our hero and his band of friends away from the familiar territory of Sherwood and out into a brand new, old world.  

Danish metalcore four-piece GHOST IRIS have announced their new studio album, ‘Comatose’, which will see a May 7th, 2021 release via Long Branch Records.

The Runaways are back! The Marvel Universe’s favorite group of outsiders return to comic shops tomorrow in RUNAWAYS #33. Continuing author Rainbow Rowell’s critically acclaimed run, RUNAWAYS #33 will see the ragtag group of reluctant “super heroes” picking up the pieces after their last adventure and descending into one of the most terrifying Marvel Universe locations ever: HIGH SCHOOL.  

Filmed on September 26, 2020 as a benefit for Washington D.C.’s legendary venue Black Cat, Darkest Hour invited guest guitarists Fred Ziomek (ex-Darkest Hour), Kris Norris (ex-Darkest Hour), Buz McGrath (Unearth), Doc Coyle (Bad Wolves / God Forbid), Fella Di Cicco (Dreamshade) and Mark Heylmun (Suicide Silence) to join them via satellite as the band performed 11 of their greatest hits (+ 1 cover song) spanning their 26-year-long career thus far.
