Currently everyone in Antarctica is slaving away on preparations for the 7th Annual GWAR B-Q.  During a break in the action to step away for a quick hit of crack, the band realized that there was no crack left.

CENTINEX originated in 1990 as a riff-oriented part of the classic Swedish death metal movement and disbanded in 2005 after releasing eighth full-length albums. In 2014 they surprisingly resurfaced with a refreshed line-up of Martin Schulman (Demonical) on bass, Sverker Widgren (Demonical, Diabolical) on guitars, Alexander Högbom (October Tide, Spasmodic) on vocals and Kennet Englund (Interment, Centinex 1999-2003) on drums. Year 2014 also saw the release of their come-back record, “Redeeming Filth”.

Blind Guardian are undeniably one of the critically acclaimed power metal bands. From their diehard fanbase to the sheer size of their sound both on recording and live, the band has done more than enough to become a formidable name in the genre.

Of all that humankind has inherited through our ancestry, no single language has transcended every age as powerfully as music. For thirty years, NEUROSIS has formed an unbreakable union, channeling that inheritance of sound with great command and authority. Their sound has become interchangeable with vision of the conscious and unconscious, coexisting in an infinite audial spectrum. A vision that challenged not only the constraints of what listeners, and indeed the band themselves expected, but of themselves as beings. Going beyond the remarkable, NEUROSIS has become...

The security of the Marvel Universe is fractured. The world’s first line of defense, S.H.I.E.L.D., can no longer be trusted. The United States no longer has a super-spy agency with its best interests at heart – until now. Prepare for the U.S.Avengers!

Now that it’s July, the halfway point is here and we’re at a point where there’s just so much great music to reflect upon going forward.
