This October, the most mysterious and enigmatic of the Inhumans is on his own for his very first ongoing series! Today, Marvel is pleased to present your new look at KARNAK #1 – the new series from critically acclaimed writer Warren Ellis (Moon Knight, Planetary) and rising star artist Gerardo Zaffino! Who is Karnak?  

So what can we say after the 2 hour premier for heroes reborn. From the start, its hard to say if we can call this an immediate reboot or sequel, but what I have seen from the premier is a compilation of recycled bits of comic book fandom. The “reborn” aspect reminding me of the “Avengers Reborn” arc from the 90’s while Noah Bennets hidden base stems from a bat-cave depiction of bat-man. The idea that derives from what an “evo” is, is similar to what a “mutie” represents from X-Men.  

New Jersey metallists Seven Witches are ready to assault your senses once again, with a fierce new album, ‘The Way of the Wicked.’ Comprised of singer Anthony Cross, guitarist Jack Frost, bassist Ronnie Parkes, and drummer Johnny Kelly, Seven Witches picks up exactly where their hard-hitting last album left off, 2013’s ‘Rebirth.’ And this is especially apparent in the album’s second video, “World Without Man.”  

It has been three years since Cryptopsy‘s last release and many fans have expressed their eagerness to hear new material. This time, rather than a full album, the band will release a series of EPs entitled The Book of Suffering. This new approach will allow Cryptopsy to put out new music more often while remaining true to their standards of quality. The first EP in the series, The Book of Suffering Tome 1, was produced by Chris Donaldson at The Grid studio in Montreal, mixed by Jason Suecoff at Audiohammer Studio and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music.

Sean Yseult, best known as the bass player from the multi-platinum and twice Grammy-nominated band White Zombie, presents her first solo show in New York City. RETROSPECTIVE – a love letter to her long-time muse, New Orleans – is a collaboration of early work from 2004, SEX & DEATH & ROCKNROLL (2012), MISSISSIPPI MERMAIDS (2013) and her current show, still on partial view at the Scott Edwards Gallery through October 2015, SOIRÉE D’EVOLUTION: TABLEAUX VIVANTS ET NATURE MORTES. Today Finnish metal superstars CHILDREN OF BODOM have released the first official music video for “Morrigan” from their ninth studio album I Worship Chaos that is set for an October 2nd release via Nuclear Blast.  Legendary, Swedish director Patric Ullaueus known for his work with Europe, Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy and others, handled the production duties on the video.
