IDES OF GEMINI are very pleased to announce their latest bout of West Coast live ceremonies. Set to commence on July 14th in Oakland, the journey will coil its way around ten cities through California, Oregon, Vancouver and Washington, coming to a close on July 24th in Glendale. The band will be joined by blackened dream pop duo, Clay Rendering. As a precursor to the expedition, the ethereal trio will play two shows supporting Oxbow next week. Two weeks later the IDES will head to Salt Lake City for a performance at Crucialfest alongside Rosetta, Norska, Disforia, and more, followed by slot on the Demon Lung record release show in Las Vegas June 20th.
Following an entire decade without a new album, Phoenix-based melodic death metal kingpins, VEHEMENCE, return to full-time duty in 2015, having reactivated the band and completed their fourth full-length studio full-length, Forward Without Motion, which is now set for release this Autumn via Battleground Records.
As their thirtieth anniversary nears, NEUROSIS will be hitting the road in their most extensive touring of the North American continent in over fifteen years this Summer, the announcement falling as the dust still settles on Baltimore following their crushing performance at this year’s Maryland Deathfest.
Upon returning from their successful European Tour which consumed the past several weeks, POISON IDEA has returned home and announced that the band is going on hiatus for an undetermined amount of time. The band has issued that they need to address some health issues and personal matters, and all upcoming shows for the undeterminable future have been cancelled or postponed. Currently on the road in Europe in support of 2014’s War Eternal, extreme metal titans ARCH ENEMY will return to North America this July/August to headline the 2015 installment of “Summer Slaughter”! Featuring BORN OF OSIRIS, VEIL OF MAYA, THE ACACIA STRAIN, OBSCURA, AFTER THE BURIAL, CATTLE DECAPITATION, and BEYOND CREATION as support, this tour will mark the band’s second North American run on this album cycle – but the first stateside trek to feature new guitarist Jeff Loomis.
Multi-national metal maestro’s DragonForce have announced the worldwide release of their debut DVD entitled “In the Line of Fire.” The release is scheduled for July 10th and features high definition footage shot during the band’s Ultimate Stage headline show at 2014’s Loud Park Festival in the Saitama Super Arena, Japan, the band used multiple camera angles to capture the raw energy of their show and instrumental dexterity for which they are rightly celebrated worldwide.
