Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler and manager Larry Mazer have formed ReThink Records, a joint venture with The End Records with distribution through RED. The label’s first signing is Portland, Maine based band Too Late The Hero. The debut CD, Statement of Purpose, was produced by Josh Wilbur and is scheduled for an April 12th release date. Following the release, the band will be touring throughout 2011, beginning with a show on April 14th at New England Metal Fest.
The tour of the year is almost here. The wait is over, for the Midwest at least, as Zeke hit the road with punk veterans and miscreants Anti-Seen, the one man freak-show that is Joe Buck, and fresh from the courthouse The Goddamn Gallows to decimate a town near (some of) you. Promoted by I.M.P. Presents, the same folks who put on the Virgin Mobile Free Fest, this year’s two-day blowout is almost like folding back the time-space concert-tinuum to the early days of MTV when the aforementioned bands were always in the cable music channel’s heavy rotation. Of course, that was back when MTV actually played videos.

French black metal label Debemur Morti Productions’ reissue of the BLUT AUS NORD classic The Mystical Beast of Rebellion is now available in North America. Debemur Morti is now taking orders for the 2xCD version of this black metal masterpiece, the second disc of which features brand new material, “The Fall (Chapters 7, 7 & 7).” A new T-shirt design is available as well.
