Pomona, California thrashers BONDED BY BLOOD are currently in the studio recording their brand new album, EXILED TO EARTH. The band are holed up at Highland Recorders with producer Ralph Patlan (WHITE WIZZARD, MEGADETH, UFO), recording the much-anticipated follow-up to their ripping 2008 debut album, FEED THE BEAST.  

Novembers Doom is just days away from heading to Europe to play a handful of dates in support of their last album INTO NIGHT’S REQUIEM INFERNAL. The band also finished a brand new video for the song “A Eulogy For the Living Lost.”  

Fresh off a successful European tour with labelmates DIVINE EVE, along with HATE, NOCTUM and NERVE, legendary death metal outfit, INCANTATION are excited to announce their inclusion in two of this summer’s most brutal metal fests. Both taking place July 15th – 17th,  

(New York, NY) — Thrash lords OVERKILL have sold 4,264 copies of their 25-year anniversary record IRONBOUND in the first week of its release. IRONBOUND has charted at 168 on the Billboard Top 200 and charted extremely well among major markets such as New York City, Boston and Philadelphia. This is the bands biggest first week since their 1994 record “W.F.O”.  

British thrashers EVILE have officially been confirmed for this years Hellfest in France. Hellfest is due to take place in Clisson, France, from the 18th-20th June. EVILE are set to open the main stage of Hellfest on Friday, 18th June. EVILE lead guitarist Ol Drake comments:  

Woe Of Tyrants spent the entirety of 2009 criss-crossing the US on a multitude of tours. After the grueling schedule came to a close, did they head home to rest and take some time off? NOPE! They dove right into songwriting for the follow up to their sophomore album and Metal Blade debut, Kingdom Of Might.  

HAIL! singer Tim “Ripper” Owens (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, BEYOND FEAR, ex-JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH) recently spoke with Michael Gallucci from the Cleveland Scene about the recent abrupt departure of bassist Dave Ellefson and trying to find a replacement (Ellefson has returned to MEGADETH for the band’s upcoming Rust In Peace 20th Anniversary Tour). Hail is the allstar metal band composed of Owens, Jimmy Degrasso on Drums and Andreas Kisser on guitar.  

South Bay punk pioneers Pennywise have announced that Zoli Teglas of Orange County’s Ignite, is the band’s new and permanent lead singer.  

Is former singer Jesse Leach returning to Killswitch Engage? The internet is setting the music world abuzz with the rumor that former Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach is returning for two New York on March 18th and 19th.  

Ibex Moon Recording artists Hod are proud to announce that they will be part of a mini tour of Texas with Gravehill starting at the end of the month! The band has issued the following statement on the Lone Star State assault:

This week, Black/Death Metal warriors ACHERON have officially added two new guitarists to the band. Lead guitarist Art Taylor, who has been working with the band for close to a year now, and guitarist Eric Stewart. Taylor came to ACHERON from WEHRWOLFE and Stewart was in MANGLED FAITH and INFERNAL FAITH. Years ago the two played in a KING DIAMOND/MERCYFUL FATE tribute band called THEM.
