You probably wouldn’t watch anything Morbid Angel at work, but their new video is definitely not something you want your co-workers to see you watching in your cubicle.
Straight off Kingdoms Disdained, “Garden of DIsdain” is definitely one of the stronger tracks on the band’s ninth studio album. Low-tempo grooves, discomforting riffs, and gutteral death metal vocals are pretty much all you could want in a Morbid Angel song, but the video is definitely a head-turner. Complete with some Sumerian mythology to accompany it, the new video for the track in question shows Morbid Angel collaborating with Nader Sadek to create something dark and eye-opening. TL;DR: there’s blood, children eat the flesh of a God, and then some weird stuff happens.
