Southern California’s GOATSNAKE is currently preparing to cross the Atlantic for a one-off performance at Desertfest this Sunday, followed by a trio of East Coast US shows.

On the heels of the brutalizing Southern Lord West Coast US Tour in September, GOATSNAKE will perform at Desertfest in Antwerp, Belgium this Sunday, October 11th, joining Bongzilla, Ufomammut, Orange Goblin, labelmates Earth and more. Upon returning to the US, GOATSNAKE will raid the East Coast for three nights, which, outside of their set at Maryland Deathfest, will be the band’s first run of East Coast shows. October 13th, 14th and 15th will see the band headlining Philadelphia, Washington DC and Brooklyn, with support from labelmates YDI and Big|Brave.

GOATSNAKE will again return to Europe on November 19th to perform as part of the SUNN O)))-curated installment of Le Guess Who? Festival in Utrecht, Netherlands, and December sees them touring the Midwest US with labelmates Pelican, including shows in Indianapolis, Columbus and Ferndale December 12th, 13th and 14th, respectively.

GOATSNAKE continues to support their lauded Black Age Blues LP, released in June. Featuring guest contributions from David Pajo (Slint, Aerial M, Papa M) and soul vocal trio Dem Preacher’s Daughters and more, the LP was recorded and mixed at Rock Falcon in Franklin, Tennessee by Nick Raskulinecz (Queens Of The Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, Mastodon, Rush) and mastered by Brian Big Bass Gardner (N.W.A., Stevie Wonder, Parliament). Ending a fifteen-year gap in full-length releases, the unstoppably entertaining album not only shows the band musically exploring new turf, it’s becoming the most triumphant album of GOATSNAKE‘s career.
