eOne Music duo DARK SERMON and BLACK CROWN INITIATE have announced support dates with CATTLE DECAPITATION in September. The dates will serve in support of Dark Sermon’s new LP due out in a few weeks.
“We listen to Cattle in the van all the time,” says Dark Sermon vocalist Johnny Crowder. “We’re really looking forward to finally hitting the road with them this fall. It’ll also be great to hit Canada again, because we always have a great time up north.” Dark Sermon will release The Oracle on August 21, 2015 via eOne Music / Good Fight Music.
The all new effort will be the highly anticipated follow up to the band’s label debut In Tongues, released in 2013. The band recently debuted a new single titled “In Each Hand, A Talisman of Sacred Stone” exclusively via Lambgoat.com.
BLACK CROWN INITIATE released The Wreckage Of Stars last year to some serious critical acclaim. “The secret to their success lies in their embrace of modernity,” says Decibel Magazine. “Instead of simply trying to replicate the songs of their forefathers, their influences feel very current.” These dates for BCI are right in line with their long history of epic metal tours including supporting BEHEMOTH and participating in THE METAL ALLIANCE TOUR.
Guitarist Andy Thomas chimes in, “As long-time fans of Cattle Decapitation, Black Crown Initiate could not be more stoked for this tour. Their unique brand of melodic brutality and songwriting has influenced us a great deal. Add our Australian friends in King Parrot and our label-mates Dark Sermon, and this promises to be a brutally fun tour. We can’t wait to see everyone on the road! There will be beer!”
