Monday night was the beginning of TV season and the first of the new comic book themed TV shows hit the airwaves. First out of the block…Gotham. Gotham is a Batman themed TV show that tells the story of Jim Gordons early rise through the ranks of the Gotham City Police Dept.

The ratings are in, and it seems that the overnites were pretty good. (3.2/10 in the 18 – 49) Overall, 8 Million viewers watched the premier. The better part is that the audience for Gotham grew for the second half hour of the show. Good numbers for a freshman 8pm lead in show.
