Ah, border crossing. Some people do it with ease, NAY! Impunity, and others, who have a legitimate reason, such as business, cannot do it to save their professional lives. One such member of the latter is the sludgy, riffy Black Cobra. This past week has been hell for the band, as they have tried to get into our frigid neighbors in the north, Canada, and have failed. Twice.
The band, loaded with full gear and merch has tried to simply get into the country, legally, to no avail at all. They exhausted themselves trying at a different entry point, only to have an encore like before.
Black Cobra officially released this official sounding statement as follows:
“As many of you already know, we were denied entry at the border of Canada. Because of the financial strain this has put on us, we were forced to cancel the remaining tour dates in the US as well. In the meantime, we will continue working on our forthcoming record and are looking into booking another tour in the US. We apologize to our fans and thank you for your continued support.”
