Megadeth founder and frontman Dave Mustaine has announced the return of original bassist David Ellefson (1983-2002) to the iconic multi-platinum group. This reunion is appropriately timed to Megadeth’s upcoming historic month-long Rust In Peace 20th anniversary tour which launches March 1 in Spokane, WA. At these incredibly special shows, Megadeth will play their landmark, genre-defining 1990 album Rust In Peace in its entirety, in addition to other Megadeth favorites.

Sevendust have released the first single from their upcoming CD “Cold Day Memory”. It’s called Forever Dead. The CD is expected to come out in April. The band is currently on tour with Drowning Pool and Digital Summer. With the return of guitarist Clint Lowery, Sevendust is expecting a bisg year. Take a listen and tell us what you think!

Finnish Love Metallers HIM are now streaming their seventh studio album Screamworks: Love in Theory and Practice on their Myspace profile. The album, which was produced by Matt Squire (The Used, All Time Low, Saosin) was recently described by frontman Ville Valo as being “the most sexual album we’ve ever made”. Ville also added “I like the immediacy of it. There’s a lot of information put in short songs and they don’t let go. That was the whole vibe for me”.

HATEBREED will be featured on FUSE TV’s On Demand service for the month of February. This will feature a version of “In Ashes They Shall Reap” video found on the DVD and Blu-Ray edition of the movie “Saw VI”. Frontman Jamey Jasta also cites the interview as the “Best interview we’ve had in a long time”.

The Elric brothers are back! FUNimation® Entertainment announced today that the mega-hit “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood”, a fantasy action-adventure series, will debut on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim on Saturday, February 13. The series will air at 12:00 a.m. ET/PT each Saturday.
