ALIEN ANT FARM is proud to announce their new deal with the Executive Music Group label via Fontana/Universal. The original line-up–Dryden Mitchell (lead vocals), Mike Cosgrove (drums), Terry Corso (guitar), Tye Zamora (bass)–will start to work on their fourth album in November and is looking to release it Spring 2012. It’ll be their first release since 2006’s UP IN THE ATTIC, which spawned the hit single “Forgive And Forget,” and the first with the original line-up since 2003.
Today punk rock legends the Misfits release The Devil’s Rain, the band’s first album in nearly a decade! It was produced by Ed Stasium, who’s credits include the Ramones’ Road to Ruin and Too Tough to Die, as well as the Misfits’ 1999 release Famous Monsters. Celebrating the occasion, they’ve release a free mp3 for one of the album’s tracks, “Twilight of the Dead.”
Swedish tech-death destroyers Volturyon have been confirmed to take part in the Eastern Death Infernal Tour 2011 with Demonical. The tour will run from October 26th to November 12th, focusing mainly on Baltic and Eastern European territories. Shows in Warsaw, Budapest, Bucharest and Berlin have been booked with the rest of the dates to be confirmed soon. Additional support will come from Hungary’s Slytract.
Goregrinding metal gods EXHUMED are readying to kick off the second leg of their Back From The Dead And Ready To Party North American Tour later this month. Set to commence on October 27 in Amarillo, Texas, the band will be touring in support of their All Guts, No Glory full-length released in July via Relapse Records.
