Poison Ivy rarely leaves Gotham City, and yet here she is in Smallville, just as the town’s vegetation is out of control. Think she might be in town to actually help Superboy get to the bottom of this mystery? Yeah, color me skeptical, too. Issue 2 of SUPERBOY lands on Wednesday.

What better way to start a week than with some variant covers? First up, we have a terrifyingly awesome cover by Gene Ha for BATMAN & ROBIN #19. Next, the indomitable Dustin Nguyen gives us an iconic, powerful cover for Jeff Lemire’s SUPERBOY #3. Neal Adams’ original pencils adorn the cover of BATMAN: ODYSSEY #6, and last but certainly not least we have a cover for GREEN LANTERN: EMERALD WARRIORS #6 by Felipe Massafera. Check them all out below!

Take Paul Cornell and Jimmy Broxton’s wry, action packed mini-series KNIGHT AND SQUIRE: it’s funny, playful and, in just two issues, the series has introduced a slew of memorable and quirky new villains.

David Kim is not a hero. He is – was – a scientist with no intentions of dabbling in powers or fights between good and evil. He just wanted to do his research and marry his fiancée and have a normal life. Eventually, he planned on aging, retiring and dying. But sometimes, fate steps in, infects you with nanotechnology and robs you of life and death forever.
