Legendary death metal legion SIX FEET UNDER today unveil the first single from forthcoming studio offering, Undead. Columbia, SC hard-rockers Crossfade have announced a summer headlining tour beginning June 1st in Knoxville, TN through July 1st in Charlotte, NC in support of the band’s emotionally charged new single “Dear Cocaine,” soon to be released. Crossfade will be joined by fellow Columbia band Weaving the Fate, as well as Candlelight Red from Williamsport, PA.  

On April first at Emerald City Comicon, Robert Kirkman and Chris Giarusso revealed a new project: THE WALKING DEAD for Kids. A panel-by-panel recreation of the original issues using Kirkman’s scripts, THE WALKING DEAD for Kids would be drawn in an art style with kid appeal by G-MAN creator Giarusso.

Arizona metal militia TOAD has returned to its homeland of Phoenix after a two-week migration through the Rocky Mountains and across the southern United States. To say TOAD’s journey was a success would be an understatement. Old friends were revisited, new allies were formed, and TOAD’s rotten gospel was delivered on a nightly basis to receptive congregations. Upon their return to the desert, TOAD immediately delved back into the writing process in preparation for the next album.

The self-titled debut studio album from UNISONIC — the band featuring former Helloween vocalist Michael Kiske and guitarist Kai Hansen (Gamma Ray, ex-Helloween) alongside guitarist Mandy Meyer (Asia, Gotthard and Krokus), bassist Dennis Ward and drummer Kosta Zafiriou (both of Germany’s Pink Cream 69) — will be released in North America on May 22, 2012 via Eagle Rock imprint Armoury Records.  

P.O.D. has completed work on Murdered Love, its first new studio album in four years. Due out this summer, Murdered Love is the band’s long-awaited follow-up to When Angels & Serpents Dance.   Murdered Love sees the band reunited with long-time producer Howard Benson who also produced the band’s massive Satellite album alongside hit albums for Kelly Clarkson, Theory Of A Deadman, Daughtry, The All American Rejects, and My Chemical Romance.
