Today North Carolina crossover instigators CORROSION OF CONFORMITY release their legendary Eye For An Eye full-length to North American fans via Candlelight Records. Originally issued in 1984, the special reissue has been remastered and includes the Six Songs With Mike Singing EP, both of which have been long out of print. A deluxe digibook edition of the album, limited to 1000 for North America, will be available at limited retailers and via Candlelight’s official webstore.

Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds is receiving praise for his side project West End Motel‘s newest release Only Time Can Tell, out now on Warner Bros/ADA. The album is streaming in its entirety at AOL Spinner in addition to PASTE Magazine, who lauds its “acoustic-driven, country-twinged tracks.” Similarly, MTV declares it “hypnotizing,” praising the “brittle guitars and hushed, husky vocals,” while Alternative Press states, “rockabilly and surf rock with strong flavors of Stax and Motown soul prevail, yet a smorgasbord of disparate influences also insinuate their way into this mix, ensuring no two songs are alike.”

Last week saw the release of the debut Symbiosis from Miami, Florida’s ABIOTIC has been on Metal Blade Records. In support of the release, ABIOTIC will be going on tour this December with label mates Battlecross. The tour kicks off December 8th in Toledo, OH and runs through December 19th in Pittsburgh, PA. Following the tour, the band will be making an appearance at this year’s “Everything is Bigger in Texas” Festival scheduled for December 22nd in San Antonio, TX.

Debuts At #50 On U.S. Billboard Top 200 Albums Charts. Microsoft and 343 Industries in conjunction with new soundtrack partner 7Hz Productions, today announced the “Halo 4” Original Soundtrack (OST) produced by composer Neil Davidge of Massive Attack fame is now available online and in stores. The “Halo 4” Original Soundtrack, featuring 15 tracks and over 75 minutes of unique music, marks the first time a new composer has taken the reins for the iconic series’ musical score since the launch of the original “Halo” game more than a decade ago.
