As I Lay Dying’s singer Tim Labesis is under investigation for allegedly placing a hit for hire on his wife who he was in the process of divorcing. Grammy-nominated Lambesis, 32, was arrested on Tuesday in a Barnes & Noble bookstore in Oceanside, California, and charged with three federal counts, including one of solicitation to commit murder and two of conspiracy to commit crime after he reportedly tried to hire an undercover detective he believed was a hit man. The September 2012 divorce documents indicate that Lambesis’ split from his estranged wife, Meggan, was amicable, according to the Associated Press.

CATHEDRAL’s The Last Spire was released last week in North America and serves as the final entry in the band’s vastly influential, decade-spanning career. Lee Dorrian explains that he feels “comfortable leaving The Last Spire as our legacy. The funeral of Cathedral has been a long but gratifying process. Deciding to end the band wasn’t an easy decision to make but we knew deep down in our hearts that it was the right thing to do.”
Four years ago Mammoth Grinder released their last full length album, Extinction of Humanity. This album was released through Relapse and Cyclopean Records. The album showcased the band’s drive to devel into a distinctly death metal sound, full of aggression and with a punk flare. Activision has released information that World of Warcraft is down 1 million subscribers. Activision has stated that most of the lost users are “from the east but, there’s some in the west as well.” This news has brought their user population down to 8 million which is bounds less than it has been for years.
There has been a string of costumed suer hero’s causing crimes lately. It all started with the Cookie Monster in Times Square New York assaulting a 2 year old and has spread to a few different places around the world. Is this an on going trend of criminals, or is it some kind of movie promotion that we’re not seeing?
It should come as no surprise that this film is taking awhile in process. Many films have a hold status placed on them before release. The evidence that we have of this is that Dean Sherriff one of the films conceptual artists placed out information on twitter. Let’s not jump to conclusions about it being off for good. It’s probably just a rock in the machine that they’re trying to get out.
