A new poster and trailer have been released for Insidious Chapter 2, the sequel to the 2011 sleeper hit from Saw director James Wan.The sequel, opening stateside September 13, reunites Wan, writer Leigh Whannell and the original cast of Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Ty Simpkins.
2013 is shaping up to be the year of HUNTRESS, following the release of their critically acclaimed album Starbound Beast. The band has been taking part in the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival and will be touring North America with Danzig immediately following their run on Mayhem and their appearance at the Heavy MTL festival. And now to top it off HUNTRESS has been asked to take part in one of the biggest tours of the fall. The band has confirmed that they will be hitting the road with heavy metal heavyweights Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage and Testament! This film has been highly anticipated all year to be one of, if not the best blockbuster of the summer. I remember sitting in Legendary’s panel at NYCC last year watching the trailer for this film and being instantly inflicted with excitement. When I sat in the theater this past weekend that excitement came to perdition and I sat in awe at the glory that Guillermo Del Toro has created.
It should come as no surprise that when speaking about Bloivar Trask being involved in Days of Future Past that only one small ball of amazing should surface as the role. This actor is indeed Peter Dinklage. When this came to pass no one was surprised, however the second villain for the film has been announced and it comes in the form of the Vulture and is being played by Josh Helman.
Officer Downe, the original graphic novel created by Joe Casey (Man of Action) and artist Chris Burnham, is getting the feature film treatment with Slipknot’s Shawn “Clown” Crahan set to direct the Casey-penned script. The Man of Action/Image Comics title Officer Downe details the story of a brutal supercop who continually dies in the line of duty, only to be resurrected by his superiors and sent back onto the streets each and every time. Skip Williamson (producer, Underworld, Crank) and Mark Neveldine (director, Crank, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance) will produce the feature along with Casey, Man of Action. Slipknot manager Cory Brennan exec produces.
