The season of giving is upon us, and Florida death metal legends DEICIDE are making it official with today’s release of ‘IN THE MINDS OF EVIL.’ The band’s 11th studio album is in-stores now, and features the same diabolical take on reality that has become the trademark of a career spanning more than 25 years.

Metallica today announced that their groundbreaking 3D feature film, Metallica Through The Never, directed by award-winning filmmaker Nimród Antal, will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, digitally, and V.O.D. (Video On Demand) on January 28, 2014 through Blackened Recordings. Formats will include a standard 2-disc package on DVD, Blu-ray, or 3D Blu-ray, as well as special expanded versions.

Flaw has re-formed, the original line-up back in place.  After a decade of being dormant, Chris Volz (Vocals), Jason Daunt (Guitar), Lance Arny (Guitar), Ryan Jurhs (Bass / Backing Vocals) and Chris Ballinger (Drums) are once again a band.  

Michael Chiklis has joined forces with IDW Entertainment to develop and produce his comic series Pantheon as a new scripted live-action television series. IDW Entertainment will fund the development of the project and will be co-produced with Circle of Confusion.  

Today, IDW Games announced it had signed J.K. Woodward and Dave Dorman to be the art team for their launch title, Kill Shakespeare. Woodward’s work has been a mainstay at IDW since 2005, where he helped relaunch Fallen Angel before moving on to various Star Trek series, including last-year’s best-selling Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who maxi-series. Dave Dorman is an Eisner Award-winning artist known for his extensive work in the fantasy genre, including Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and much more.  

The success story of A VOICE IN THE DARK, a recent debut from Image Comics with writing and art by disabled comic book creator Larime Taylor, continues with an immediate sell-out at the distributor level. Terry Moore (Strangers in Paradise, Rachel Rising) likened the story to “Strangers in Paradise meets Dexter.”  

This December, Spider-Man battles his greatest foes as Darkest Hours continues in Superior Spider-Man #24 – from the critically acclaimed creative team of Dan Slott & Humberto Ramos!
