Announced earlier today at ComicsPRO in Portland, Oregon, Marvel Comics will be putting the final chapter of the Skywalker saga to the page in a comics adaptation of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Writer Jody Houser (Star Wars: TIE Fighter) and artist Will Sliney (Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren) will be teaming up to retell this epic story in STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER ADAPTATION #1. In addition to the shocking twists and turns that were present in the film, the five-issue limited series will also have brand-new story material for readers to enjoy!  

Just announced at ComicsPRO in Portland, Oregon, everyone’s favorite web head will be starring in a new ongoing series this June from two of the comic book industry’s greatest creators! Writer Joe Kelly and artist Chris Bachalo are teaming up to give readers the most web-slinging action that can possibly be contained in a comic book!

Cleveland’s metallic hardcore legends RINGWORM announce Spring US headline tour dates. Select dates with All Out War, High Command & labelmates Genocide Pact are available below.  

The Contortionist have released a music video for their spot-on cover song of The Smashing Pumpkins 1995 hit “1979” via Consequence of Sound. Directed by vocalist Michael Lessard, this is the second music video we see from the band’s Our Bones EP released last year. Lessard also directed the music video for the title track “Our Bones” and can be seen below. Vocalist Michael Lessard comments:

DEAD BY WEDNESDAY have announced The Highnamic Duo Tour with Twiztid. “We’ll be doing all of the U.S. dates (NOT Canada) opening for the mighty Twiztid, Slaine, and more!!!!! We played a bunch of the last Warped Tour dates with Twiztid & become friends with some of their camp. These guys are known to bring out a “token” heavy metal band with them out on tour & we are honored to be that band this time around. Yes, we know it’s not a metal tour but that’s the difference between DBW & a lot of metal bands…  

Set after the events of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, writer Charles Soule and artist Jesús Saiz are currently telling the previously unseen adventures of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and the Rebel Alliance in Marvel’s ongoing comic series, STAR WARS. With this exciting new era underway, some of the franchises’ longstanding mysteries are being spotlighted including what happened to the lightsaber Luke lost in his climatic duel with Darth Vader in Cloud City.  

Starting next month and continuing through June, MARVELS SNAPSHOTS will be a bi-monthly series consisting of eight standalone issues offering unusual viewpoints on some of your favorite Marvel heroes. OZZY OSBOURNE’s 2020 North American “NO MORE TOURS 2” has unfortunately been cancelled to allow OSBOURNE to continue to recover from various health issues he has faced over the past year. This decision was made to accommodate fans who’ve been holding tickets for rescheduled shows and have been asked to change plans, some multiple times. Following promotional obligations for his new ORDINARY MAN album (out February 21), OSBOURNE will head to Europe for additional treatments.
