Dancing with the Devil must appeal to the N.A.R.A.S. membership, as they’ve gone and done it again – nominated Slayer for a Grammy Award. And the members of Slayer – guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, bassist/vocalist Tom Araya, and drummer Dave Lombardo – are wickedly pleased.

Reunited after the Battle of Geonosis, Padawans Ahsoka Tano and Barriss Offee are assigned to take a supply ship back to Republic-controlled space. But their routine mission becomes a fight for survival when they discover that the ship has been overrun by a horde of deadly stowaways – Geonosian brain worms with the grotesque ability to control the thoughts and actions of their clone hosts. It is impossible to tell friend from foe when dealing with deadly “Brain Invaders” in an all-new episode of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, airing at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT Friday, December 4 on Cartoon Network.

This August I took a trip, a very long one. I traveled from Westchester County to Sheapshead Bay in Brooklyn during the rain. Why did I do this? The opportunity to visit an alien world was too much to pass up. The world I’m speaking of is Pandora, the setting for James Cameron’s epic 3D motion picture, “Avatar” and what a journey it was. “Avatar” is the story of a paraplegic soldier who is caught in the middle between humans and the Pandoran natives, the Na’vi. James Cameron has created a living, breathing world with native cultures, species, plant life, and languages and in a couple of weeks will be transmitting it to us in state-of the-art 3D.

If Sex In the City fans were confused over their see-saw love affair with Chris Noth’s Mr. Big, comics fans will endure an equal amount of trepidation over Noth’s latest performance – as the voice of a “good” Lex Luthor – in Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, an all-new DC Universe Animated Original PG-13 Movie coming February 23, 2010 from Warner Premiere, DC Comics and Warner Bros. Variety.com is reporting that hollywood is moving forward with a pair of unlikely 3D sequels. Sony is in the process of inking deals to bring back the “Zombieland” team for a second installment, but this time the bloody comedy is poised to unspool in 3D. And Paramount has greenlit a third “Jackass,” which will also be shot in 3D.

The Halo universe expands into anime this spring via Halo Legends, a DVD anthology of episodic films based within the popular game’s mythology produced by 343 Industries, a unit within Microsoft Game Studios. One of the key orchestrators of Halo’s morphing from interactive entertainment to on-screen magic is Frank O’Connor, the Halo franchise development director.

Of all the characters in CAPCOM®’s vast videogame library, arguably none is more recognizable worldwide than Mega Man™. With more than 100 video games to his name, Mega Man is among the most iconic figures of gaming, but despite this, the original blue bomber’s Japanese manga adventures have never been available to English readers. UDON has decided to rectify that, with the release of Mega Man™ Megamix Vol. 1 in January 2010.
