Swedish long-haired gangsters Gehennah have dunked their fountain pens into their custom made kegs, a blended mixture of blood, booze, and pus, and signed a contract with Metal Blade Records.

New Orleans instrumental riff conjurors, MOUNTAIN OF WIZARD – who feature within their ranks members of EyeHateGod, Classhole and Mystick Krewe Of Clearlight – will kick off the new year with a short run of live rituals supporting amplification kings, High On Fire. Set to commence in Birmingham, MOUNTAIN OF WIZARD will levy their smoky, bottom-heavy jams upon the ears of West Columbia, Richmond, Brooklyn, Hartford, Portland, Poughkeepsie and Providence with additional shows to be announced in the weeks to come.

John 5 & The Creatures will embark on a string of dates in 2015 in support of CAREFUL WITH THAT AXE starting Sunday, February 8 in Ramona CA. The play list will not only have several songs from the new album, but the band will also play songs from each of John 5’s solo albums.

West Virginia instrumental stoner rock legends, KARMA TO BURN, will bring their bong-ripping riffery and glassy-eyed grooves to the stage on a mammoth live expedition. Twin Cities mosh purveyors, IN DEFENCE, have just wrapped up the mayhem-infiltrated recording process of the act’s fourth full-length for unveiling by mid-2015, and being the road hounds they are, have already booked a full Southern US tour in advance of its release.

This month, one of the biggest metal acts drops a new record into our laps, the new darker, sexier, sicker Black Widow by In This Moment. The visually stunning act has returned with an album dripping with a dark energy, wanting to sidle up close, whisper somethings into your ear, then make you fall in love while it bleeds you dry from the fangs in your neck. It’s catchy, and sees a fair return to their earlier offerings like Beautiful Tragedy. The beauty of the Black Widow pales to its deadly grace…

Due to vocalist Mike IX Williams‘ exhaustive touring and recording schedule these past years, a doctor’s strict orders for rest, vitamins and general physical recovery has been prescribed, and it is with deep regret that CORRECTIONS HOUSE has postponed the last few remaining dates of the Writing History In Advance US tour.
