Our Endless War Available April 29th on Metal Blade Records! Returning with the fifth full-length of their decimating career, there is no stopping the juggernaut that is WHITECHAPEL. Our Endless War is the culmination of everything the Knoxville, Tennessee sextet have worked toward since their inception. A ruthlessly honed album that refuses to compromise on brutality, it is also by far their most streamlined, atmospheric, and emotionally powerful release, pushing every aspect of their sound to the next level.

Sweden’s d-beat crust purveyors, MARTYRDÖD, have once again entered the infamous Studio Fredman (At The Gates, Amon Amarth, Opeth) to record their fifth full-length, entitled Elddop. The follow-up to 2012’s Paranoia LP will, as with its predecessor, be released via Southern Lord. Additional details on Elddop will be announced upon the completion of the recording sessions in the coming weeks.

Southern California’s terrorizing death metal cult, SKINFATHER, will release its debut LP this Spring via Streetcleaner Records.

Following recent broadcasts informing the public of ENABLER‘s deadly revamped lineup and impending East Coast tour, the Midwest-based trio now expose the details on their anticipated second full-length release, La Fin Absolue Du Monde. Translated from French to signify “the absolute end of the world,” the title of the new album is yet another of the band’s works inspired by filmmaker John Carpenter, in this case in referencing his movie, Cigarette Burns.

Following the release of their debut full-length, Last City Zero, CORRECTIONS HOUSE — the collective musical extractions of Mike IX Williams (Eyehategod), Scott Kelly (Neurosis), Bruce Lamont (Yakuza), Sanford Parker (Minsk) and their minister of propaganda, Seward Fairbury — will be leveling the UK on April 12th for a single London show following their appearance at this year’s Roadburn Festival.

The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization has announced an adjustment to the lineup for this year’s show. While we’re disappointed that Philadelphia’s FLESH ENGINE cannot be part of our lineup with their 2nd studio album CD release performance this year, we’re excited to confirm Pittsburgh’s VERMITHRAX as a very suitable replacement. This True Metal outfit with thrash, Power & Progressive Metal elements was founded by former and founding members of Reading Zero, Nunslaughter, Icarus Witch and Order of Nine and has recently been joined on second guitar by James Malone of Nuclear Blast recording artists, Arsis.

Wizards and warriors, rejoice, for the chosen one has returned! The Misery Wizard lives! Since the early 2012 unveiling of their debut sonic behemoth Misery Wizard, fans and critics alike have patiently yet anxiously awaited the second chapter in the ongoing legacy of the almighty PILGRIM, a three-piece doom metal band from Rhode Island.

Currently, Between the Buried and Me are on tour with Intronaut, Deafheaven, and The Kindred. I had the pleasure of seeing them live this past Friday, and was absolutely blown away! It was my first time with all of these bands, including the local opener Moments Till Fall. Every band, whether I was really into them or not, put on a fantastic show, and the tour is very much worth going to see. It’s progressive metal at its finest, and each band definitely had their own take on it! I’ll break it down further now. Venue: Jake’s Backroom, Lubbock TX Having deemed this the concert mecca of Lubbock for all the more intimate live shows, its got a fair restaurant up from, and spacious room to move around...

Baltimore thrash assassins, NOISEM, will undertake their most high profile tour excursion to date next week, as the young crew hits the road on the third annual Decibel Magazine tour. Set to provide their jacked-up, rabid thrash assault as the opening act of the tour, Noisem‘s set will be followed by each night by performances from massive metal luminaries Gorguts, The Black Dahlia Murder, and headliners, Carcass. The three week venture gets underway on Tuesday, March 18th in Orlando, Florida before blasting westward infiltrating major cities across the US and Canada before the final gig on April 13th in Silver Spring, Maryland, right down the street from the band’s home turf.
