Rock and Roll Hall of Famer ACE FREHLEY has announced Origins Vol. 1, a collection of 12 newly recorded classics from Ace’s formative years featuring some of the biggest names in rock and roll, on April 15, 2016. Most notably, KISS frontman PAUL STANLEY joins ACE on Free’s hit “Fire and Water.” This collaboration marks the first time that Ace and Paul appear on the same studio recording since KISS’ 1998 reunion album Psycho Circus.
TORCHE has announced a slew of new North American dates beginning this coming April and May. The Miami stoner/sludge rockers will be directly supporting Norway’s Kvelertak on a nearly month-long tour throughout the US and Canada. On either end of the tour, TORCHE will also be playing two weeks of headlining dates in the US East and Southwest. Up-and-comers Wild Throne will support on the majority of the dates. Texan trio, TRUE WIDOW, have completed recording their fourth full-length album with longtime producer Matt Pence at The Echo Lab in Argyle, TX. The much anticipated new album marks the band’s first recordings since 2013’s Circumambulation and is expected to see a summer release via Relapse Records.
Atlantic recording group Halestorm has announced details of a major North American headline tour. The dates – unveiled earlier today via BandsInTown – begin April 1st at Reading, PA’s Reading Eagle Theatre in the Santander Arena and extend through late May (see attached itinerary). Support throughout the trek comes from special guests Dorothy and the legendary Lita Ford.
