According to the bands website, AC/DC are forced to reschedule the 10 upcoming dates on the U.S. leg of their “Rock or Bust” World Tour. AC/DC’s lead singer, Brian Johnson, has been advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.  

Through Fire has announced that they will embark on the ‘Generation Doom’ 2016 Tour that begins on April 8th in Las Vegas, NV and ends in Los Angeles, CA on May 28, 2016. The tour will be in support of their new single “Stronger” which is making a big impact at radio. The band will be releasing their debut album later this year via Sumerian Records.  

Metal music legends KORN and ROB ZOMBIE unveiled details behind their co-headlining summer 2016 tour. Produced by Live Nation, the two influential bands will launch this summer’s most anticipated metal music tour on July 19, 2016 at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Englewood, CO and will visit 26 North American cities including Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Seattle, Las Vegas and more. In anticipation of his upcoming book, “18 and LIFE on SKID ROW,” iconic rocker Sebastian Bach will embark on a US Spring Tour that will incorporate an intimate acoustic set followed by a full electric live show.  

Sweden-based melodic doom/death metal outfit, OCTOBER TIDE, premiere a new song entitled “Sleepless Sun” that can be experienced in a form of a lyric video. It is the first song to be revealed from the band’s 5th full-length album “Winged Waltz”, which will be released on April 22nd via Agonia Records.  

California Groove Metallers DEVILDRIVER will be touring non-stop this year in support of their new release Trust No One. In addition to their already announced tour alongside Hatebreed, The Devil You Know and Act of Defiance, DEVILDRIVER has confirmed a string of North American headline dates. The first run starts prior to the Hatebreed tour and kicks off April 27th in Las Vegas, NV and wraps up May 11th in Grand Rapids, MI.  

U.S. Metal Super Group THEM have inked a deal with Belgium’s Empire Records. First up is at the release of a limited edition tour CD called Fear Them, which contains three tracks (“Forever Burns,” “Dead of Night,” and “Blood from Blood” from upcoming debut album Sweet Hollow. AUTHOR & PUNISHER, led by one-man industrial doom enigma, Tristan Shone, will haul its steel through the motorways of North America this Spring as direct support for Weedeater. Shone’s latest excursion commences with the previously announced dates which run from March 14th and through April 3rdand include a performance at this year’s edition of SXSW in Austin.  

Sirens is the forthcoming new full-length from long-running Stockholm hardcore crust troopers, VICTIMS. Set for official detonation on April 15th via Tankcrimes Records, the band’s first full-length since 2011’s acclaimed A Dissident LP was tracked at Studio Gutterview by Fred Estby (Dismember, At The Gates, Refused), mastered at Audiosiege by Brad Boatright (Iron Reagan, Nails, Integrity), and features the expected white-knuckled surges of angst as well as some more expansive elements throughout the album, all enshrouded in a barbed-wire vocal delivery, packed with unstoppable gang-chants and inescapable hooks.
