Noisey, the music arm of VICE, is proud to present NOLA: Life, Death And Heavy Blues From The Bayou, a seven-part series examining the people and the culture that helped foster bands like Down, Eyehategod, Crowbar, Acid Bath, Goatwhore and many others. Launching on September 16th, the series features appearances from names like Philip H. Anselmo (Housecore Records, Down, ex-Pantera), Mike IX Williams (Eyehategod), Jimmy Bower (Eyehategod, Down, Superjoint Ritual), Kirk Windstein (Crowbar, ex-Down), Pepper Keenan (Corrosion Of Conformity, Down), and Sammy Duet (Goatwhore, ex-Acid Bath) amongst others, discussing the bands, Hurricane Katrina, drugs, suicide, murder, and records that helped shape the New Orleans sound... 

This Fall, The Flash joins Arrow as the second go around for a DC Entertainment property hitting the small screen in the same shared universe. Here’s a new teaser trailer that shows some of the two programs trademarks.

Topps’ Garbage Pail Kids, the 1980s sensation, will have readers squirming with delight this winter as the obscene adolescents star in a brand-new comic-book series from IDW Publishing. With the likes of Adam Bomb, Leaky Lindsay, and New Wave Dave populating the Garbage Pail Kids universe, the delightfully deformed and often downright disgusting Kids are set to make their mark on the world of comics, just in time for their 30th Anniversary in 2015!  

EW.com has released a first look at Arrow Season 3’s Roy harper as Red Arrow. Fans of the show have been wondering and waiting when Harper would emerge as his alter ego Red Arrow. Expect many DC characters to emerge in this upcoming season of the hit TV show.

World-renowned manufacturer Bif Bang Pow! has announced a new partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products with Warner Bros. Animation (WBA), to release a series of new products from the upcoming animated comedy series Mike Tyson Mysteries™, which is premiering this fall on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block.  

Marvel is excited to announce that on Wednesday, July 16th, at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT, Marvel’s Joe Quesada will be announcing an all-new comic book title and all-new era for one of Marvel’s most classic Super Heroes on the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central.

Kaotoxin Records has announced the recording of what could be dubbed as being “The French Peel Sessions” as, for the first time in France, the state-owned national radio network, Radio France, have started an ongoing series of “live in the studio” recordings for nation-wide broadcasting on their “Le Mouv” channel.  

Here is a first look at the latest show surrounding the Batman Mythos. Don’t know how Fox is going to work up a Superhero/non Superhero show…but good luck. At least the trailer looks cool.

Marvel Television unveiled Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: The Art of Level 7, a landmark new initiative bringing top artists from around the world together to celebrate the explosive final six episodes of the series’ inaugural season (airing Tuesdays, 8|7c on the ABC Television Network). Featuring a first look at key events in each episode, these exciting Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. art pieces offer fans clues and enticements to the future of everyone’s favorite Agents with new images being unveiled every Thursday for six consecutive weeks.  

IDW Entertainment, the newly launched division of comic book powerhouse IDW Publishing (IDW), and leading independent studio Entertainment One Television (eOne), have entered into a partnership to co-develop, co-fund and co-produce television series based on IDW’s extensive library of over 300 original properties. The announcement was made today by David Ozer, President of IDW Entertainment and John Morayniss, CEO, eOne Television.
