Universal Cable Productions (UCP) continues to expand its powerhouse producing talent and build upon the studio’s genre footprint by signing a first-look deal with legendary comic book publisher, Dark Horse Entertainment (“The Mask,” “Hellboy”). The deal announced today will focus on developing and producing scripted programming from their extensive comics library as well as new material. Discussions for the deal began at Comic Con in 2014 when Dark Horse introduced UCP executives to some of their top writers and artists. Over the last year, those conversations continued and have yielded multiple television projects with direct involvement from the comics creators.  

The recent announcement of the villain Bullseye was enough to get the fan-boys all exited about the second season of the hit series Daredevil. Well, hold on to your hats, cause another major Marvel character is coming to Hells Kitchen to dish out some Punishment…Jon Berenthal has just been cast as Frank Castle…AKA: The Punisher. That’s right, Marvel favorite vigilante is coming to town with more than a six shooter to dish out some PUNISHMENT. Stay tuned for more from  

So, there have been many rumors floating around about who the next villain might be for season 2 of Daredevil. The hit hit Marvel series on Netflix. Well, the producers have just cast the role of Bullseye…  

The Dark Knight isn’t seeking tricks or treats when Gotham City’s most lethal villains take to the streets on Halloween night in the newest DC Comics animated film – Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, the original movie arrives from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Blu-rayTM Combo Pack and DVD on August 18, 2015 for a $19.98 SRP, and via Digital HD on August 4.

Heavy Metal stallworths Mastodon met their untimely end on this weeks episode of Game Of Thrones. The band are huge fans of the show and were invited to appear in the show.  

Most reviews in regards to season finales dwell on big spoilers, and cliffhangers that get us in gear for the next season. In regards to the season 2 finale of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D titled S.O.S and The Flash season 1 finale called Fast Enough, I contemplate the two separate and vital styles between Marvel and DC’s emotionality of characters.

The nail finally hit the coffin when it comes to Constantine. NBC has officially cancelled the supernatural “Comic Book” show based on the exploits of John Constantine and the comic book Hellblazer. This is the first official Comic Book based TV show cancelled by any network in what is being called “The Golden Age of Comic Books for Movies and TV”.  

Teen Titans Go!, the popular Warner Bros. Animation television series airing on Cartoon Network, gets the full HD treatment via Warner Archive Collection when Teen Titans Go! The Complete First Season debuts on Blu-rayTM today (April 21).
