Faith No More offer up a second song from their forthcoming album, Sol Invictus (May 19, Reclamation Recordings/Ipecac Recordings), with the single “Superhero” currently streaming via Marvel.com!

Tennessee’s Whitechapel have unveiled their latest music video, today…. But be warned: “Let Me Burn” isn’t like other Whitechapel videos. The band collaborated with director Mitch Massie, the director behind the latest and most visually striking videos from Cattle Decapitation, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and more. Mitch Massie brought the lyrics to “Let Me Burn” to life in gloriously gory fashion; this video is not for those with a weak constitution.

New York experimental death metal strategists, PYRRHON, have announced their first ever European tour. Featuring support from French grinders Department Of Correction, the trek will commence on April 10th in Paris, France and runs through April 25th in Plymouth, United Kingdom.

It’s that time again, where my un-asked-for opinion assaults your eyes! Today, it’s less me bitching and moaning about things, and more bringing to light that music, while becoming less original and more instantaneous thanks to the digital epoch that is now upon us, there are still bastions of places that do there best to cater to the bands, and by doing so, keep the spirit of the record store alive and well. Just without actual records. Or stores. Just go with it! More after the jump!

Eat Lead & Die Music is pleased to announce the release of MONSTERWORKS‘ The Existential Codex on February 27. The six-track, 42-minute digital version of the album will be available as a free download. The CD version of The Existential Codex is a 73-minute double-CD. In addition to the bonus tracks, the CD version comes in bonus Blu-Ray 5.1 Surround and HD stereo mixes. Super Metal for Super Metalheads!

Southern Arizona stoner rock outfit, FUZZ EVIL, will record their debut full-length album in the coming weeks for release via their cohorts at Battleground Records, and have already begun booking their tour schedule for the year with a headlining run of dates through their Southwestern stomping grounds in April.

Australian Thrash Metal Juggernaut DESECRATOR has released a video for new single “Red Steel Nation“!

After the victorious independent release of their The Many Sides Of Truth LP in 2014, longtime NYC-area epic death/doom act, GREY SKIES FALLEN, now declares several new releases in 2015, beginning with the official unearthing of two of the band’s prior digital-only releases on physical format for the first time.

Again, I can’t forgo a split! It’s becoming an addiction… But this time I have to shout the heavens down with probably one of the smoothest, bluesiest, most dulcetly heavy splits/albums you could possibly want for this year! The split of Le’ Betre and King Buffalo is nigh upon us, and its all thanks to the maniac genius of STB Records. This is the blues/rock/metal album you have been craving, and after the jump are some words I may have glued together out of a dictionary or Time magazine.

STB Records is proud to present one of the smoothest splits your ears will hear this year. Sweden’s retro-laced Le’ Betre and New York’s king of doom blues, King Buffalo, have come together on a massive, riff-laden, blues blasted journey of a split on the titanic DIY record label, STB Records!

Los Angeles, California’s GOATSNAKE has announced further live dates in Europe, kicking off at the end of May with their set at Temples Festival, and taking the band through territories new to them. This news comes alongside the completion of the recording of the band’s new album, which will see release on Southern Lord this Summer.
