Revelation Records is now just over a week from releasing Low In The Dust, the debut LP from Southern California’s FELL TO LOW. Meshing noisy post-hardcore and angular indie rock influences, the young band bridges the courage of the pioneering acts of said musical scenes with modern sensibilities into a caustic yet calming and fully engaging delivery.
Ohio grinding progressive death engineers, LOCUSTA, are packing up their weaponry for the Primordial Death Summer Tour. Set to commence tomorrow, July 23rd, in Lexington, Ketucky, the tour will raze sixteen cities, coming full circle and drawing to a close on August 8th in Covington, Kentucky. The band will be joined by fellow Buckeye State death metallers, Faithxtractor, for a bulk of the journey as well an assortment of brutalizers throughout the tour including Mutant Supremacy, Noisem, and Tombstalker.
Quebec City-based death metal trio and recent Unique Leader signees, UNBREAKABLE HATRED, will unleash the audio carnage of their forthcoming new full-length next month. Titled Ruins, the eight-track face-breaker was recorded by Chris Donaldson at The Grid Studios (Cryptopsy, Despised Icon, Neuraxis etc.) and is a sincere and violent exercise in spine-shattering brutality; relentlessly fast, precise and rabid with enough brutalic grooves to windmill your way into oblivion.
Death-saluting metal collective, GRUESOME, will take to the streets next month on a short run of live performances. Following an appearance at Obscene Extreme America Fest in Montreal next month, the band — which features guitarist/vocalist Matt Harvey (Exhumed), drummer Gus Rios (Malevolent Creation), guitarist Daniel Gonzalez (Possessed), and bassist Robin Mazen (Derketa) — will kick off a mini tour in September, waging their classic Schuldiner-styled odes upon the ears of Tampa, Miami, Orlando, Cave-In-Rock, San Diego and Los Angeles. See confirmed dates below.
