Fans can expect to hear selections from “A Pleasant Shade of Gray“, the FATES WARNING favorites, and more. The Humans comic, by Keenan Marshall Keller and Tom Neely, is set in the ’70s and follows a motorcycle gang’s exploits, but with a twist; in this world, the gangs are all apes and actual humans are primitive beasts kept around for sport. Southern California’s FORCED ORDER has just declared a new pile of Fall and Winter tour dates on both American and European soil, including US shows with Burn, Soul Search, Ceremony and Trapped Under Ice, a European tour with Turnstile, and Winter appearances at FYA Fest and several shows with Foundation. The tour dates see announcement just as the vinyl version of the band’s decimating debut LP, Vanished Crusade, is ready to see release this week through Revelation Records.
Next month, Corpse Flower Records will unveil Morbid Tales: A Tribute To Celtic Frost, a maniacal 12-inch compilation featuring the likes of Persekutor, Acid Witch, Temple Of Void, Municipal Waste, Hayward featuring Scott Kelly and Jason Roeder of Neurosis, Evoken and Coffin’s Slave featuring Scott Carlson of Repulsion, all paying tribute to one of extreme metal’s most influential acts.
