  Sept. 14, Los Angeles — The track listing for Queens of the Stone Age, a reissue of Queens of the Stone Age’s critically-lauded  1998 self-titled debut, reflects the band’s original vision for the album with three tracks that were initially cut from the record reinstated.

After the tragic passing of co-founding Quiet Riot singer Kevin DuBrow in 2007, many figured that the band was over. But while going through the vaults of vintage video material for an upcoming documentary of the band’s history, the spark was reignited once more for drummer Frankie Banali to kick QR back in gear. The easy part was filling the guitar and bass slots – as former members Chuck Wright (bass) and Alex Grossi (guitar) promptly signed on. However, having to fill DuBrow’s large shoes was no small task.

After a long hiatus, The Dresden Dolls are thrilled to announce their first live tour in 3 years! The pioneering and influential “punk cabaret” duo comprised of Amanda Palmer (piano, vocals) and Brian Viglione (drums, guitar, bass) will be kicking off a few weeks of dates starting on Halloween at Irving Plaza in NYC.

    Multi-platinum recording artists Disturbed have claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart with their new release Asylum. The album hit stores on August 27th and sold 179K copies in its first week. This is the fourth consecutive number one release for the band. Disbelief is known for being one of the most significant members of the German metal scene. Their bold combination of death metal, thrash, hardcore and psychedelic sounds brought them a faithful fan base and proved that there’s still room for innovators in heavy music. And now Metal Mind Productions presents the exclusive reissues of two of the most prominent works by Disbelief – “Infected” and “66Sick” – which deliver a powerful dose of pure metal annihilation.    

We’ve teased this creative team a few times here already, but now’s your chance to get a handful of artist Nic Klein’s final pages, penned by the writing team of Azzarello and Brandon.  

Knight and Squire are a perfect example of what makes DC great. Introduced as a duo in the 1950s but revitalized by Grant Morrison in the late 1990s, they are every inch a British Batman and Robin.
