Cruz Del Sur Music has posted the first track off of For the Love of Thugs and Fools, the forthcoming album from veteran Chicago rock n’ roll band Bible of the Devil. Entitled “The Parcher,” the song is now available for streaming at Cruz Del Sur’s Bandcamp page. For the Love of Thugs and Fools will be out on May 8th in North America.
Grammy-nominated metal band Shadows Fall has completed work on its seventh studio album, Fire From The Sky. The new album is confirmed for release in-stores and online, May 15th. Recorded at Zing Studios in late 2011, Fire From The Sky reunites Shadows Fall with long-time friend, producer/engineer and Killswitch Engage/Times Of Grace guitarist, Adam Dutkiewicz (Devil Wears Prada, All That Remains). The album was mixed by Brian Virtue and features some of the band’s most complex and melodic material in years.
FEAR FACTORY today reveals cover and package details for their forthcoming new album, The Industrialist. Set for North American release on June 5, The Industrialist is a conceptual record based around a story written by vocalist Burton C. Bell. Lyrics to the album’s ten songs divulge the narrative as discussed recently by Bell with Decibel Magazine. The album’s artwork was created by American designer Anthony Clarkson with additional direction from the band. The album will be available on three formats – standard CD, a limited edition deluxe digi-book (featuring two additional songs), and 180-gram double vinyl.
West Coast road warriors EXHUMED will embark on a near three-week stretch of tour dates this May alongside labelmates Fuck the Facts and headliners The Back Dahlia Murder. Dubbed The Canadian Ritual Tour, the goretorn ceremonies will begin on May 11 in Madison, Wisconsin and include two weeks of Canadian dates before drawing to a gory close in June 2 in Detroit, Michigan.
Female-fronted extremists WYKKED WYTCH have been confirmed to take part in the Maximum Cavalera 15th Anniversary North American Tour with SOULFLY, INCITE and LODY KONG. The 24-city tour kicks off on April 13th in Colorado Springs, CO and will keep the band on the road until the final date in Albuquerque, NM on May 11th. WYKKED WYTCH is touring in support of their most recent burnt offering, The Ultimate Deception, which was released on February 14th by Goomba Music, The Ultimate Deception has been praised by critics around the world.
