Hatebreed will release their new studio album The Divinity Of Purpose on January 29th 2013 in the United States/Canada and on January 25th in Europe. This is Hatebreed’s sixth album to date and first for new label partners Razor & Tie in North America and Nuclear Blast in Europe and various additional international territories.
Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds is receiving praise for his side project West End Motel‘s newest release Only Time Can Tell, out now on Warner Bros/ADA. The album is streaming in its entirety at AOL Spinner in addition to PASTE Magazine, who lauds its “acoustic-driven, country-twinged tracks.” Similarly, MTV declares it “hypnotizing,” praising the “brittle guitars and hushed, husky vocals,” while Alternative Press states, “rockabilly and surf rock with strong flavors of Stax and Motown soul prevail, yet a smorgasbord of disparate influences also insinuate their way into this mix, ensuring no two songs are alike.”
Last week saw the release of the debut Symbiosis from Miami, Florida’s ABIOTIC has been on Metal Blade Records. In support of the release, ABIOTIC will be going on tour this December with label mates Battlecross. The tour kicks off December 8th in Toledo, OH and runs through December 19th in Pittsburgh, PA. Following the tour, the band will be making an appearance at this year’s “Everything is Bigger in Texas” Festival scheduled for December 22nd in San Antonio, TX.

The “Halo 4” Original Soundtrack, featuring 15 tracks and over 75 minutes of unique music, marks the first time a new composer has taken the reins for the iconic series’ musical score since the launch of the original “Halo” game more than a decade ago.
