Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment are pleased to reveal the first “Heavy Metal” variant cover for Daniel Warren Johnson’s MURDER FALCON. Each issue of the head-banging action series will feature a “Heavy Metal” variant cover that pays tribute to a different classic heavy metal album cover. A variety of brutally talented artists will contribute to this variant cover line, kicking off with series artist Daniel Warren Johnson on MURDER FALCON #1 Cover B.  

I guess I’ll eat my own words this time. I’m a vocal fan of Omnium Gatherum, one of Finland’s more seasoned and refined melodic death metal bands. Last I saw them, they were opening for Sonata Arctica in New Jersey, and flash forward nearly two years later and they’re opening up a hell of a line-up: Other than themselves, they shared a stage with Moonspell, Dark Tranquillity, and Amorphis. They worked perfectly with Sonata Arctica last time, and the likes of Omnium being paired up with Dark Tranquillity isn’t unheard of. But Moonspell and Amorphis? A dream line-up if I’ve ever seen it.

The hard rock band Kingdom Come was formed in1987 and quickly signed to Polydor Records. Kingdom Come released their first single “Get It On” which held a stranglehold on rock radio in early 1988, prompting their self-titled debut album to ship gold.

Jeffrey Nothing (also known as Jeff Hatrix), co-founding member of Mushroomhead, has resurfaced with his solo project Jeffrey Nothing (also known as NOTHING), along with fellow former Mushroomhead guitarist Thomas Church, following their departure from the band in March of 2018. Also appearing is former Motograter and The Browning drummer Noah “Shark” Robertson, vocalist Ian Sniesak, bassist Kahler Hatrix, among other members yet to be announced.
