GUITAR LEGEND STEVE VAI STRIKES GOLD WITH HIS LATEST CONCERT FILM “LIVE IN MINNEAPOLIS: WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE” LOS ANGELES, CA, January 8, 2010: Grammy® Award winning guitarist Steve Vai struck gold twice recently as his latest concert film, “Live In Minneapolis: Where The Wild Things Are,” went Gold in both the USA and Canada.

CREATURE WITH THE ATOM BRAIN CONFIRM TOUR DATES WITH ALICE IN CHAINS Fresh off a European tour with The Dead Weather, Creature With The Atom Brain are gearing up for yet another exciting adventure. The band is thrilled to announce that they have just been invited by the recently reunited Alice In Chains to support them on a big part of their upcoming and practically sold out North American tour. The tour will coincide with the US album release of TRANSYLVANIA, their North American debut, out February 2nd.

Swedish avant-rockers CULT OF LUNA are set to have their first two albums released on vinyl LP for the first time ever. Earache Records will be releasing CULT OF LUNA’s self-titled debut album and its follow-up, THE BEYOND, on January 25th on limited edition, double gatefold, coloured vinyl LP, marking the first time these album have ever been pressed on vinyl.

No not really, but the band has cancelled 2 shows, Baltimore and NYC this coming week, but the reason is because the Canadian heavy metal band whose “Cinderella” story, “Anvil! The Story of Anvil,” is nominated for a Critics Choice Movie Award in the category of Best Documentary, will travel to Los Angeles to attend the awards presentation that will be held at the Hollywood Palladium this Friday, January 15.
