A week prior to the show there was a shooting at the venue, as a result the city forced Mojoes to close up shop for a week forcing them to cancel some shows and relocate others, Metalliance being one of the shows they moved, to a place called the Bada Brew. I don’t know where Mojoes is, but the Bada Brew was parked between a crappy little convenience store and the some cafe called The Broken Egg in a tiny little strip mall. Following up on the success of last year’s reissue of the classic Winter Of Sin, Abyss Records is proud to unearth yet another treasure from Norwegian black/death metal warlocks FESTER. In mid-April of 2011 Abyss will reincarnate FESTER’s 1994 masterpiece Silence on digi-CD. The reissue will come completely remixed, remastered and repackaged and will feature all nine original tracks and a live version of the song “Persecution” recorded in 1991.
The story thus far…Izegrim recorded and released its first propaganda on tape, called ‘Most Evil Demo’ in spring 1998. The demo (featuring symphonic death metal) was generally received very positively by the media. Izegrim released the self-financed mini-CD Bird of Prey in the summer of 1999. From the start, Izegrim was received very well by both the media and audience at live-gigs.
