Fenriz’s connection to Slayer Mag dates to the 1980s, when he was just beginning to play music and Kristiansen was already a respected figure in the Scandinavian underground scene.

On April 26th, The End Records will reissue the much sought after debut album by Mindless Self Indulgence, Tight. In 1999, Mindless Self Indulgence burst onto the New York City scene, playing to packed audiences at the likes of the now defunct CBGBs, Coney Island High, Brownies and The Knitting Factory. That same year, they put out their debut album, a 15-track release called Tight.
