Australian rockers Airbourne will embark on the first North American tour in support of their riff-roaring new album (and fifth overall) Boneshaker, out now via Spinefarm Records. The spring tour kicks off April 20 in New York City and concludes on May 23 in Montreal. The trek includes appearances at several major rock festivals, such as Sonic Temple and Epicenter. All dates are below.  

Asking Alexandria have given fans a belated Christmas surprise today by releasing a deluxe version of their phenomenally successful self-titled album. The release, titled ‘LP5 DLX’, celebrates the 2nd anniversary of the release of the Self-Titled and features 6 bonus tracks.  

Doom Candy (Ex-Mushroomhead) have released their latest track entitled, “Doom Candy” (Zardonic Remix). The song is taken from the group’s upcoming ‘Suicide Effects’ EP, set for release in early 2020. Doom Candy features music from Jeffrey Nothing and Thomas Church. The music can be described as dark, aggressive “elektro-thrash”; which includes elements of industrial and heavy metal.  

Crobot and Mascot Records have presented a new music video for “Low Life” from the band’s upcoming studio album MOTHERBRAIN out globally on August 23. The clip captures front man Brandon Yeagley as he navigates multiple settings while exhibiting questionable behavior towards the various characters he comes in contact with. Accompanied by a high energy band performance, Crobot have simply mastered the art of creating compelling, entertaining music videos.

Venerated black metal specialists DARK FORTRESS return with a new album, Spectres from the Old World, on February 28th, 2020. After a six-year gap, Germany’s darkest sons continue where Venereal Dawn (2014) left off conceptually.  

Beloved German folk/rock performer CONNY OCHS has released a new video from his latest LP, Doom Folk, which saw release in early 2019 through Exile On Mainstream. Filmed by Lutz Kretschmann, the stark “King Of The Dead” video showcases the soloist performing the track at Kabumm Studio, Germany where Doom Folk was recorded.

Venerated black metal specialists DARK FORTRESS return with a new album, Spectres from the Old World, on February 28th, 2020. After a six-year gap, Germany’s darkest sons continue where Venereal Dawn (2014) left off conceptually. Dark Fortress vocalist Morean states, “together with the rest of the human race, the protagonist reincarnated as a disembodied creature of pure light in ‘On Fever’s Wings’, the last song of Venereal Dawn.

Roaring into its fourth year, MASS DESTRUCTION METAL FEST has unveiled their plans to infiltrate Atlanta, Georgia in 2020. Carrying on the two-day, single-stage, all-ages format, the festivities will take place November 6th and 7th at The Loft at Center Stage and features a host of metal luminaries including Repulsion, Nuclear Assault, Monstrosity, Massacre (FL), Cenotaph (MEX), Malignancy, Thornspawn, Estuary, and Vimur with more to be announced in the weeks ahead.  

  For his new video for the #1 rock track “Under The Graveyard,” OZZY OSBOURNE reteamed with acclaimed film director, screenwriter and music video director Jonas Akerlund (who worked with OSBOURNE on videos for “Let Me Hear You Scream” and “Gets Me Through”). Watch the video below…

YOSHIKI appeared as a surprise guest last week (Dec. 11) during the Tokyo Dome performance of KISS’s “End of the Road World Tour.” He shocked the audience by performing piano and drums for two songs during the encore of KISS’s only Tokyo show on the band’s “Final Tour Ever.” YOSHIKI will also perform with KISS at their Osaka performance at the Kyocera Dome on December 17, 2019.
