Industrial band GNAW have joined Seventh Rule Recordings. GNAW is the brainchild of Alan Dubin (Khanate, Old, O.L.D.), Carter Thornton (Enos Slaughter), Jun Mizumachi (Ike Yard), Brian Beatrice and Eric Neuser. Their 2009 Conspiracy Records debut, This Face, described as a “genre destroying journey,” incorporated pounding percussion, factory noise, chordal slabs of guitar and bass, homemade electro-acoustic instruments and Dubin’s legendarily scathing vocal craftings. The band will release their second album, Horrible Chamber, later this year.  

FEAR FACTORY will embark on their first full headlining tour in support of their album The Industrialist. The tour set to visit 38 cities throughout the US and Canada. The World Industrialist tour will feature Hate Eternal and Kobra and The Lotus.  

Neurot Recording signed and is debuting Arkansas southern rock collective Iron Tongue. This band is fronted by Chris “CT” Terry, the founding singer of Rwake. Iron Tongue assembled when a group of veteran players with diverse musical backgrounds decided to combine to create something new and dirty.  

Andrew W.K. has announced plans to embark on his first-ever American solo tour, The Human Party Machine. During this spring/summer jaunt, W.K. will be armed with only a microphone, a keyboard, and the will to survive as he brings his party to intimate club and bar settings across the country.

Montreal extreme metal veterans CRYPTOPSY have released the official lyric video for the song “The Golden Square Mile.” The song comes off the band’s self-titled release, which came out last fall and was greeted with mass approval from critics and long-time fans who have been thirsting for the return of CRYPTOPSY’s tech-death glory days. Pasadena, CA’s GYPSYHAWK have announced that they will support VALIENT THORR on tour this summer! Serving as the openers on the tour will be RAMMING SPEED. The tour will begin on June 12th in Charlotte, NC and hits cities throughout east coast and Midwest before wrapping up on July 6th in Raleigh, NC. Additional shows before and after the shows with VALIENT THORR are in the works and will be announced shortly.  

German power metalers Helloween announce their upcoming North American tour. The band will travel across the US and Canada this September and October bringing their power hooks and catchy melodies to fans who have yearned to see them since their 2008 tour with Gamma Ray.  

Legendary British band SATAN have released a brand new track off their forthcoming new album Life Sentence. The song, “Siege Mentality,” is now streaming at this location. Life Sentence, SATAN’s first full-length since 1987’s Suspended Sentence, will be available in North America on May 21st via Listenable Records. The album will mark the 30th anniversary of the band’s highly-acclaimed 1983 debut Court In The Act. Life Sentence will also feature the same line-up that appeared on that now-classic piece of metal history.
